Andrew.jpg Andrew is editor of thinkbroadband.com, the largest independent guide to Broadband in the UK. Providing advice to consumers on solving a wide range of broadband problems and attempting to unravel the complexities of broadband for the mainstream press and consumers alike.

 

Claire Woffenden
Editor, Web User

Claire Woffenden is editor of Web User, the UK's best-selling internet magazine and its website Webuser.co.uk.  Claire has worked at Web User since its launch in 2001 and prior to becoming editor, held the positions of deputy editor, news editor and staff writer. Previously, Claire worked at Vnunet.com and Computer Reseller News.

  

Alex Cruz Farmer
NetSumo

Alex set up his Brighton based company NetSumo in 2005 and in less than four years the company has become one of the leading and most respected Networking Consultancy firms in the service provider industry. Alex has been involved with many organisations and is also a member of the LINX Programme Committee, so he enjoys a view of industry from both the service provider and end-user perspectives. In his spare time Alex is a keen cyclist, occasional snowboarder and a great socialiser.

   

Dinah Greek
News Editor, Computeractive

Dinah.jpg Dinah Greek, news editor for Computeractive, has been a journalist for 23 years and has covered science, technology, business, cyber crime and humanitarian topics for a variety of different publications; including the FT and Canadian National Post. For her the most interesting assignments are the ones that are out of the ordinary - such as being sent to Bosnia twice and Kosovo once during the 1990s. She is also an expert on consumer law and deals with the many problems Computeractive readers face.

 

Roger Darlington 
Portfolio Worker

Roger.jpg Roger Darlington is a portfolio worker, specialising in consumer affairs and the communications industry. He is the Member for England on the Communications Consumer Panel - formerly the Ofcom Consumer Panel - which is the statutory consumer body for broadcasting and telecommunications issues, a position he has held since February 2004. 

 

Prof. Michael Rotert
Vice-President, EuroISPA

In 1991 Prof. Rotert was a founding member of the Internet Society. In 1993 Prof. Rotert founded one of the first ISPs in Germany (Zlink). In 2000 he was appointed Senior Vice President for research and development at KPNQwest. Afterwards he was Managing Director of several Service Providers. Prof. Rotert has been President and Vice President of EuroISPA EIIG www.euroispa.org, Brussels - the European Internet Service Provider Association – from 2003 until 2009.

 

Helen Anderson
Associate, Denton Wilde Sapte

 H.Anderson.JPGHelen Anderson is an associate in the Technology, Media and Telecoms department of Denton Wilde Sapte LLP. She has broad experience advising a variety of clients, in both the public and private sector, on various outsourcing, IT services and licence agreements, data protection and e-commerce issues. She spent three months on secondment to the telecoms regulator Oftel and 10 months on secondment to Bank of America, acting as sole legal advisor to their procurement team for EMEA and Asia.
