Step 1 - Registration Closed - (deadline 27th January)
Step 2 - Testing - files must be in place for testing to start on 13th February
Step 3 - Complete value-added form here - (deadline 30th March)
Requirements for Entry:
- Entrants must register their services and other requested information for the appropriate award(s) via the registration form by January 27th 2012
- Entrants must be an ISP or a company offering mass web site hosting to customers.
- Entrants for Best SME Business Hosting will be given a file that they will place on a server.
Overview of Technical Tests:
The tester will periodically download the hosted binary test file in order to measure performance of the service. The same broadband services will be employed to test all the hosted services, with broadband from different providers employed in order to mitigate the impacts of differing peering arrangements. Specific measurements taken are as follows:
- Download speed
- Availability
Value-Added Section:
In addition to technical testing, entrants to this category are required to submit a value-added form, which will be used to assist the judges in selecting the winner of the Award. The judging criteria is available below. Please complete the value-added form linked to here by 30th March 2012.
