Launch of The 2008 ISPAs

The Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA UK) in association with Epitiro is launching this year’s search for the UK Internet industry’s top performers.

The 2008 ISPAs – The 10th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards – will reward the industry’s star players after completing a rigorous three month testing period.

The ISPAs’' tenth anniversary highlights its success and ability to retain its position as THE UK Internet Industry Awards.

The 2008 ISPAs will be made up of two divisions; the ISP division and the Special Awards division. This year’s awards will feature two new categories which were introduced in response to entrant feedback and to more accurately reflect the industry. Best Dedicated Hosting and Best Shared Hosting are replacing Best Business Host and Best Consumer Host.

Entry to The 2008 ISPAs is free and open to all ISPs, including those who are not members of ISPA.

To enter the awards, companies should select the category or categories they wish to enter, and register for testing with Epitiro via www.ispaawards.org.uk. Online registration opens on MONDAY 2ND JULY and is set to close on the 31st August.

The 2008 ISPAs kick-off 

The 2008 ISPAs – The 10th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards – will open for registration on MONDAY 2ND JULY. The ISPAs celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and has been a showcase for the star players in the UK Internet industry since 1999. 

The 2008 ISPAs give companies the opportunity to be recognised for their quality and commitment to the industry. The ISPAs remains THE UK Internet Industry Awards by changing and evolving to reflect the dynamic industry it serves.

Entry to The 2008 ISPAs is free and open to all ISPs, including those who are not members of ISPA.

To enter the awards, companies should select the category or categories they wish to enter, and register for testing with Epitiro via the category pages at www.ispaawards.org.uk from MONDAY 2ND JULY

Online registration will close on the 31st August 2007. Other key dates are listed below.

Companies not registered in time will NOT be entered into The 2008 ISPAs.

To avoid missing any deadlines, a few dates to engrave in your diaries are as follows:

Timeline

MONDAY 2ND JULY:Online registration for ISP division applicants is open at www.ispaawards.org.uk 

31st August:Registration closes. Any nominees who have not registered by this date will not be entered into The 2008 ISPAs

3rd September:Technical registration for ISP division applicants opens at www.ispaawards.org.uk.  Entrants set up and begin testing the configuration of the ISP-I software.

1st October 2007:Technical registration closes and monitoring and testing period, conducted by Epitiro, begins.

30th November 2007: Deadline for the submission of entrants’ supplementary information at www.ispaawards.org.uk

January 2008: End of testing. Shortlists announced.

February 2008: The 2008 ISPAs – The 10th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards.  The winners of The 2008 ISPAs will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony.

As THE UK Internet Industry Awards, The ISPAs provide an excellent platform for organisations wishing to demonstrate their leadership in the industry.

Sponsorship of a category at The 2008 ISPAs allows organisations to promote their leadership in the industry and to target the industry’s senior decision makers. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of The ISPAs sponsorship cost is frozen until October - we’re offering an opportunity to secure the full sponsorship package at last year’s cost of £8,500, saving you £1,000.

The 2008 ISPAs has already received its first two sponsors. 

Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco systems were so pleased with their 2007 ISPAs sponsorship benefits that they’ve already signed up to sponsor Best Business Broadband and Best Business ISP at the UK’s biggest Internet industry awards – The 2008 ISPAs

Not only will they take advantage of a great range of opportunities to promote their organisations before, during and after the awards ceremony but they are also entitled to the early bird discount price of £8,500.

80 per cent of respondents to the attendee evaluation considered the sponsors of The 2007 ISPAs were effectively represented prior to and at the event.
