Top Ten Tips for entry to The 2008 ISPAs
Your guide for a smooth and successful entry
1) Stick this page and the timeline somewhere prominent so you won't forget anything or miss that crucial deadline. Make sure your team has read and understood the process.
2) Put the key dates in your diary.
3) Sign up to ISPA News to keep up to date with all the awards news
4) Early registration with Epitiro will ensure the receipt of ISP-I software. Registering later will put great pressure on the set-up and installation process. ISPs that miss the deadline will not be given a second chance - they will not be entered.
5) Make sure your technical contact will always be available during the testing period. Your contact should be reachable at all times. Please do not choose someone who is planning to jet off to Spain for 8 weeks before Christmas.
6) Ensure you have a PC and connection for each Internet access service you enter.
7) Remember the PC and connection is your responsibility. It's in your interests to make sure it is safe, works correctly and isn't unplugged or disconnected at any point during the monitoring process.
8) Ensure your monitoring PC meets the recommended specifications for ISP-I.
9) Submit your supplementary information at www.ispaawards.org.uk in good time. Avoid unnecessary length, repetition or fancy language. Remember less is more.
10) Secure your tickets to the event in good time. You wouldn't want to miss the main event.
