Using a network of monitoring satellites across the UK, the ISP-I ("eyespy") software from Epitiro emulates a users activity with each ISP from a variety of sites across the UK, external to the provider's network.

ISP-I constantly monitors performance by continually connecting to each ISP, every 15-30 minutes, and capturing performance metrics such as time to connect, connection speed, upload speed, download speed, ping time, DNS look-up time together with incoming and outgoing e-mail  round trip performance

The system is able to monitor ADSL, DSL, Cable modem, Dial-UP- and Wireless Connections providing a range of detailed statistics including connection speed, reliability, performance and email delivery for independent analyses.

Our customers use this data to help improve services, monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements and for competitive marketing purposes.

Epitiro are currently developing further applications to monitor customer experience for e-commerce transactions and rich media content web sites.
