Requirements for Entry:

  • Entrants must register their services and other requested information for the appropriate award(s) via the registration form linked to www.ispaawards.org.uk 
  • The registration deadline is January 22 2010.

The judging criteria is available below. The category will be judged by the Race Online 2012 team.Please submit to awards@ispa.org.uk by 30th March 2010. 


The Digital Inclusion Award, in association with Race Online 2012, will recognise the individual, organisation, project or company that has gone the extra mile to engage with the millions of people in this country who have never used the internet. The award focuses in particular on nominees that have actively targeted and helped the 4 million most difficult to engage individuals in the UK who are suffering from digital and social exclusion.  

 

Open to individuals, organisations, community groups and companies from across the public, private and charitable sectors, the Award will be tested against the following criteria: 

  • Impact on digital inclusion
  • A Beacon for others to learn and develop from
  • Awareness raising
  • Skills & learning
  • Innovation and creativity – such as use of resources and funding


In no more than 400 words, entrants may wish to provide an overall summary of the initiatives that they have been involved in or focus on one particular case study. 


Entrants are required to submit and download the written entry form by March 30th 2010.

Race Online 2012 is a national campaign to challenge and support the British government, the private sector, the media, charities, grassroots organisations and members of the British general public to accelerate all their efforts to overcome Britain’s digital divide.
